Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia
Eight localities, one agency: a site that starts with where you live, because that is what decides which help reaches your door.
A website concept for the designated Area Agency on Aging serving Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Isle of Wight and Southampton, built as a real WordPress theme with a static preview. The eight-locality service area is the navigational spine rather than a line on the About page: a caregiver picks a locality to find the senior centers, routes and programs that actually reach it, and a donor reads the same spine to see what a gift does there. The document library treats reading and downloading as separate first-class actions, with 107 of the agency's own documents mirrored and the full text of 105 of them indexed, so a search finds the sentence inside the PDF. Set one register larger than a conventional site, with a 19px body floor and a 7:1 body-contrast target, because every primary reader is a senior or the caregiver of one. Piazzolla and Rethink Sans over a deep azalea drawn from the agency's own brand. Concept only; facts, documents and photography come from the agency's published site and its RFP.
