Case study overview

The problem

A residential high school that also runs an online program, summer camps, and statewide outreach is four admissions funnels wearing one brand. A family looking at summer camps and a family considering moving their child into residential enrollment need almost nothing in common, and a single generic prospective-student path serves neither. Behind that, the recurring failure is editorial: a school communications office with no realistic way to keep four program calendars current.

The approach

Four doors open the site — Residential High School, Online Program, GoSciTech summer camps, and Outreach and STEM opportunities — so each audience self-selects immediately rather than working through a shared funnel. Because the durable problem is maintenance rather than layout, the concept includes a CMS demonstration built the way the real one would be built, showing staff exactly how they would publish news, events, and program updates. A coming-up calendar and news surface keep the school's real activity visible, which for a school of this kind is the strongest recruiting material it has.

The result

Ten routes covering academics, admissions, calendar, news, portals, contact, search, accessibility, and a working CMS demonstration.
