Case study overview
The problem
Township websites carry statutory obligations — legal notices in particular — alongside ordinary service content, and the notices usually end up in an archive nobody can navigate. Meanwhile residents mostly want a service or a person to contact, and a department-shaped site makes both harder to reach.
The approach
Services, legal notices, and resident contact paths are organized task-first, so the statutory material is genuinely findable rather than merely posted. Conformance targets WCAG 2.2 AA — a superset of the 2.1 AA legal floor — which is a deliberate choice to build above the minimum rather than to it.
The result
Five routes covering services, legal notices, and contact paths, built to WCAG 2.2 AA.
