About this concept
The problem
A coalition site does two jobs that pull apart. It has to make the case — who we are, what the litigation means, why this matters — and it has to be a working resource for the teachers and organizers doing the actual work. Most coalition sites do the first and treat the second as a downloads page, which is where curriculum goes to be forgotten.
The approach
The curriculum hub is built as a searchable surface rather than a file list, so material can be found by what a teacher needs instead of by what it was named when uploaded. A 25-partner coalition wall makes the breadth of the coalition legible at a glance — for a coalition, the membership is the argument. English and Spanish run as a full toggle rather than a partial translation, which in New Mexico is a baseline rather than an enhancement. The whole thing extends the organization's existing site around the Martinez/Yazzie case rather than replacing it, so the work is additive and adoptable.
The result
Eighteen routes on a live WordPress build with a searchable curriculum hub, a 25-partner coalition wall, and full English and Spanish.
