This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for this website. It applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us through the forms on this site, by email or by other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
The forms on this site collect only what THI needs for the task you choose:
- The housing application: the questions on THI’s paper application about your household, income, housing need and military service, copies of the documents on THI’s checklist and your typed signature. It never asks you to type a Social Security number.
- The annual update: your contact details and any change to your household or income, with documents for it.
- A service request: what needs attention in your home, photographs if you add them and how to reach you.
- A message to the office: your name, how to reach you and your message.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.
To check a housing application, THI may confirm your income with your employer and may run a credit check, as the release forms you sign with your application allow. Criminal history records THI receives are kept apart from all other housing records, under the control of THI’s Executive Director, and are used only for applicant screening and lease enforcement (Policy Section III.B).
Payments
Online payments are made on the payment page Bank of Albuquerque provides for THI. Your payment details go only to the bank, never to this website.
Cookies and Search
This website does not use cookies to follow visitors. It sets cookies only for THI staff who sign in to keep it up to date.
Searches you type are matched against this website’s pages and documents in your own browser. The answers to the questions on What You Need to Apply stay in your browser too, and are never sent to THI.
This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You can do the following at any time by contacting us at the phone number or address given on this website:
- See what data we have about you, if any.
- Change/correct any data we have about you.
- Ask us to delete any data we have about you. THI keeps the records that federal housing program rules require it to keep.
- Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Applications, requests and the documents sent with them are kept in a private folder on the website’s server that only THI staff with that job can open.
