Public Safety
Police Department
Reach an officer, request a record, register an alarm, or license a pet. Fire and emergency medical service in Sumner is provided separately by East Pierce Fire & Rescue.
In an emergency
Call 911
Any situation that is happening right now and threatens someone’s safety.
Non-emergency
Everything else an officer should know about: a problem already over, a suspicious situation without immediate danger, or something to report after the fact. Call as soon as you can: a complaint reported hours or days later is often too late for an officer to act on.
