A 43-year career in aerospace manufacturing, including 15 years in executive leadership, before serving on the Sumner Planning Commission, then City Council as deputy mayor, then election as Mayor.

Jason Wilson is the City Administrator, running day-to-day operations for the Mayor, with Jeff Steffens as Deputy City Administrator. Municipal Court is the City’s judicial branch.

Council Meetings take public comment under New Business. Study Sessions are open for the public to observe, without a comment period. Agendas are typically posted online the Wednesday before a Council meeting.
Mayor Bowman also holds Coffee with Carla, an informal drop-in chance to talk with her, announced on the calendar.
