Appraiser and GIS
How do I find property information?
When Value notices mailed March 1
Value notices for land and buildings go out March 1; personal property renditions are due back March 15; the appeal deadline for personal property is May 15.
Parcel records, appraised values, and the county map are online. Questions about a value go to the Appraiser at the courthouse.
What to do
- Search a parcel by name, address, or parcel number.
- Open the county GIS map for boundaries, roads, and the fire and school districts.
- Read your value notice when it arrives in March; the appeal window is on it.
- Call the Appraiser at 785-738-5061 with questions about a valuation or a rendition.
