Standing rules

Services and rules that apply throughout the year.

  • Burn permit

    Renew the annual burn permit before the first burn of the year, and call the Communications Center before every burn.

  • Recording cutoff

    Documents presented to the Register of Deeds after 3:30 p.m. on the last day of a month (after 10 a.m. on the last business day of December) are recorded the next business day.

  • Driver's license renewals

    Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment at the Treasurer's office.
