Pay your electric, water, and wastewater bill online through Enerlyte at fairmontmn.enerlyte.com, by phone at (507) 238-9461 during business hours, by mail to 100 Downtown Plaza, or at the utility payment drop box on the east side of City Hall.
What are the 2026 electric rates?
For 2026 residential electric service the customer charge is $7.50 per month, the energy charge is $.1226 per kWh, and the minimum bill is $7.50 per month, as set in the 2026 utility rate schedule.
How do I start or stop utility service?
To open an account, review the Utility Service Policy, complete a Utility Services Application, provide a photo ID, and pay any required deposit. Connections happen weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Call (507) 238-3920 about deposits.
What are the liquor store hours?
Fairmont Liquor at 1755 Center Creek Drive is open Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Its phone number is 507-238-2269.

When does the City Council meet?

How do I reserve a park shelter?
The city has three enclosed shelter houses at Lincoln Park, Sylvania Park, and Cedar Creek Park. Contact City Hall at (507) 238-9461 to check availability and reserve one for your event.
Where is the dog park?
The Dog Park is at 1450 S. Prairie Avenue, a 1.5 acre off leash site with two enclosed turf play areas, water, trail access, and paved parking, open daily during daylight hours.

How do I sign up for automatic bill payment?
Complete the Automatic Utility Bill Payment enrollment form and attach a voided check, then mail it to the City of Fairmont. Withdrawals process on or after the 25th of the month.
Where does Fairmont get its drinking water?
The City of Fairmont draws its drinking water from Budd Lake, treated at the $31 million water treatment plant completed in 2013, which has a capacity of 5.4 million gallons per day.
