Industrial Park

Fairmont Industrial Park

The Fairmont Industrial Park sits on the west edge of the city, most lots fully served with sewer, water, storm sewer, blacktop road, curb and gutter, and natural gas, with rail access on some lots. It is home to Avery Weigh Tronix, ADS Hancor, Tri County Industries, Kahler Automation, Kenway Engineering, Hog Slat, and K & W Electric.

Approximately 69 acres, both platted and unplatted, zoned I-1 Light Industrial and controlled by the City of Fairmont, 1.5 miles from Interstate 90.

City permits and licenses run through a single forms library, and the city-owned utility handles new electric, water, and wastewater service.

Development activity

CHS and Green Plains Renewable Energy operate on 200 acre sites adjacent to the industrial park, and significant property remains available for acquisition, with a range of financing arrangements negotiated case by case.
