Woodfield Trolley

The Woodfield Trolley (Pace Route 905) is a FREE transportation shuttle providing access to various Woodfield area destinations.

When does the Trolley operate?

Please note that the Trolley only operates on weekdays during certain times of year. Check this page or the Trolley Hotline at (847) 923-3880 before traveling to confirm service hours.

January 2nd through Memorial Day:

Effective January 2nd through Memorial Day, the Trolley operates on weekends only (Friday through Sunday).

Operating hours are as follows:

• Friday - Every 30 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Saturday - Every 20 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday - Every 30 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

*The times above are estimates. We aim to arrive on time but may arrive slightly early or late due to traffic conditions. Please arrive at the trolley stop 5-10 minutes prior to your departure. 

Please note that the Trolley does NOT operate on Easter Sunday.

Memorial Day through Labor Day:

Effective Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Trolley operates 7 days a week.

Operating hours are as follows:

• Monday through Friday - Every 30 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Saturday - Every 20 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday - Every 30 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Day After Labor Day through Thanksgiving:

Effective the day after Labor Day through the day before Thanksgiving, the Trolley operates on weekends only (Friday through Sunday).

• Saturday - Every 20 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday - Every 30 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Sunday - Every 30 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Where does the Trolley operate?

The Trolley operates on a fixed route, making regular stops at various popular destinations in the Woodfield area. See the route illustrated on the map below. Destination information, ordered by the corresponding number on the map, can be found below the map.

Destinations:

1. Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel: Stop temporarily relocated to the Convention Center entrance. Temporary stop relocation will remain in place until construction is completed.
2. Roosevelt University—Schaumburg Campus: Flag the driver along McConnor Parkway between the Roosevelt University entrance drives.
3. IKEA Schaumburg: Stop located outside of the exit on the south side of the building, near the Click & Collect pickup area.
4. Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago: Stops located along Walter Payton Drive.
5. Woodfield Village Green: Stop located in front of Marshalls.
6. Woodfield Mall: Stop located at the lower level near JCPenney.
7. Streets of Woodfield—Dick’s Sporting Goods: Stop located in front of the north entrance.
8. Streets of Woodfield—Center Drive: Stop located in front of RH Outlet.
9. Streets of Woodfield—AMC Theatres: Stop located in front of the main entrance on Theatre Way.
10. Pace Northwest Transportation Center: Park & Ride, or connect to other Pace bus routes from here! Trolley stops at Bay 1.
