A shared strategy for a growing region
Communities grow strongest when they grow together. Lake Erie West coordinates the region's economic development planning so investment, workforce, and infrastructure decisions reinforce one another.
The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
The CEDS is the region's five-year economic roadmap. It looks across workforce and education, infrastructure and transportation, business climate, industry and innovation, demographics, and quality of life — so the region can make the case for federal and state investment and act on shared priorities.
The strategy is built with member governments and partners, and it ties directly to the council's transportation and environment work: a connected region is a competitive one.
