Spring

Family Spring Fest

A parade at 9 a.m., an exhibition softball game between the high school staff and the BESA coaches at Duty Field, pony rides, cow patty bingo and three classes of lawn mower races.

Easter Egg Hunt

The City's egg hunt for families, held on the field each spring, with the Easter Bunny.

National Day of Prayer

A gathering at City Hall with the Mayor, the Council, first responders, schools, churches, businesses and families.

Community Night Out

The City, the Police Department and the Volunteer Fire Department set up at the fire station: patrol and fire vehicle displays, traffic-safety information, free popcorn from the City and an outdoor movie after dark.

Operation Blue Santa

The Police Department collects new, unwrapped toys at City Hall, the school district offices and the police station, then families come to the station for a meal with the officers and a gift for each child.

Christmas Tree Lighting

The City lights the Christmas tree, and Santa greets visitors.

Recurring Notices

Free-chlorine conversion is posted in April and the Consumer Confidence Report in June. The budget and the tax rate are set in late summer, and the Police Department opens the Blue Santa toy collection in December.

  • Free Chlorine Conversion

    Bluebonnet Water Supply Company will be conducting their annual free chlorine conversion of the transmission system BEGINNING April 1st, 2026, and ENDING April 30th, 2026.

  • Boil Water Notice: 5/14/2025 - Rescinded

    5/19/2025 Update: The results from samples taken over the weekend have returned negative. The boil water notice is now being lifted. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this matter.

  • BE-WELL Program Announcement

    The Bruceville-Eddy Police Department has created the BE-WELL Program for our Citizens who live within the City limits of Bruceville-Eddy.

  • Tire and Trash Clean-up Day

    McLennan County Road & Bridge, Precinct 1 Clean Up Day Friday, March 14th, 2025 7:30 a.m.

  • Annual Chlorine Maintenance

    Bluebonnet WSC will be conducting their chlorine conversion beginning today – April 1st 2025 – and ending April 30, 2025.

  • Boil Water Notice 1/31/2025 - Rescinded

    2/5/2025: Update - The Boil Water Notice has been lifted as of 10:00 am on February 5th, 2025.

  • Applications Now Open for BEEDC

    The City of Bruceville-Eddy City Council is now accepting applications for service on the Bruceville-Eddy Economic Development Corporation (BEEDC). Three seats will be expiring on 9/30/2024.

  • Trash Rate Increase

    At the July City Council meeting, a trash rate increase was approved to begin in August in the amount of 3.4% across currently established fees.

  • Water Billing Audit Underway

    Water Company of America will be in the Bruceville-Eddy area starting the afternoon (7/9/2024) to perform an audit of our Water System’s accounts.

  • Boil Water Notice: July 3rd, 2024 Rescinded

    UPDATE: Having received a passing bacteriological sample from the water lab, as of 10:20 am July 3rd, the system wide Boil Water Notice is now lifted.

  • June 12th Council Meeting Cancelled

    The June 12th, 2024 Special Called City Council meeting has been cancelled. All agenda items will be moved to the June 17th, 2024 council meeting.

  • Water Restrictions Lifted

    Our main water source, Lake Belton, is now above 100% capacity. Therefore, water restrictions are being lifted effective immediately. Thank you for the part you play in conserving water! 5/10/2024

  • Bulk and Brushy Trash Collection

    In an effort to better serve you, The City of Bruceville-Eddy, in partnership with our solid waste vendor (Waste Connections), is excited to announce that we will begin offering curbside service for bulky and brushy items beginning next week!

  • City Council Meeting Scheduled

    A Special Called City Council Meeting has been scheduled for Janurary 5th, 2023. This meeting was scheduled as a substitute for December's regular meeting to accommodate holiday schedules.

  • Closure for New Year's Day

    City Hall will be closed Monday Janurary 2nd, 2023 in observance of New Year's Day and will re-open on Tuesday Janurary 3rd, 2023 at 8am.
