Another way to get the same information

Anything published on this site can be provided another way: read aloud over the phone, printed in large type, or mailed to you. A document the City holds only as a scan can be read to you.

Language access

If you are eligible for a City program and cannot speak, read, write or understand English well enough to deal with City staff, the City will provide a qualified interpreter at no cost. You will not be asked to rely on your own children, relatives or friends to interpret. You may file a grievance about the language services you received.

Scanned documents

Some of the City's older documents are scans with no readable text, so a screen reader gets nothing from them. The document archive marks which ones.
