Request for Proposals (RFP)
Westside Regional Center (WRC) uses an individual needs process to identify the necessity for the development of new resources in our community. Development of resources is ongoing, and WRC utilizes a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process in this effort.
The RFP process ensures that appropriate services are developed based on identified community needs, and we encourage anyone interested in providing services to our community to pursue through the RFP process.

WRC’s definition
The process to determine whether, and to what degree, an individual has developmental deficits. An assessment identifies the individual’s strengths, abilities, needs, and developmental level.
Vendorization
Vendorization is the process a provider goes through to be approved and paid by WRC.
WRC’s definition
Any community agency or professional that provides services purchased by the regional center for its clients. Also known as a Vendor.
