As per Welfare & Institutions Codes 4622(g)(1), “The regional center shall provide necessary training and support to these board members to facilitate their understanding and participation, including issues relating to linguistic and cultural competency ” and (g)(3) “Each regional center shall post on its Internet Web site information regarding the training and support provided to board members.”

Regular meetings
The Board shall hold at least ten (10) regular meetings (inclusive of the Annual Meeting held in June) each year unless otherwise agreed to.
Meetings shall take place on the second Wednesday of the month, if not a legal holiday, and if a legal holiday, then on the next succeeding Wednesday that is a business day, unless otherwise scheduled by a majority vote of the Board.
