The United States Geological Survey (USGS) began data collection on October 1, 1959 and continued until September 30, 1982. USGS station number: 11154100. Station operation assumed by SCVWD on October 1, 1982, and continues on and off to the present. The gage height record is fair, but the discharge record is poor. The downgraded discharge record is due to fouling on the control. Flow is partially regulated by Sprig Lake, and by possible upstream diversions.
