The communities will be applying for grant funds to purchase the cargo containers, the drums/boxes that will be placed inside the containers, supplies, and the disposal costs. Since this is a pilot project, Angela and Ann decided that they should be placed uniformly throughout the district so patrons can still have easy access to the services. Currently, we are looking at Harrison County that will service Harrison, Daviess, and Mercer; Carroll County that will service Carroll, Chariton, and Caldwell; Sullivan County that will service Sullivan, Putnam, and Grundy; and Livingston that will service Livingston, Grundy, and Linn. Ann has photos on what the containers will look like inside the packets.
c. Executive Directors Report e Corinne reported that she is looking for a new coordinator for solid waste.
The job description has been changed in hopes of getting more applications for the job. The job requires skill set matching. The increased starting salary will be $12.50 an hour and changed the title to environmental project coordinator. She is hoping to get this to a 40 hour a week position and for this person to do grant writing and environmental reviews.
