Downtown Grand Junction
Main Street looking down its length: the roadway curves around planted brick medians full of mature shade trees, with shopfronts and awnings on both sides, café tables and umbrellas on the left pavement, and a figurative sculpture standing beside them
This is the thing the rest of the site is an index of: a working commercial street laid out in curves and planted medians, with the shops on both sides and the sculpture standing on the pavement between them. Photograph Wusel007, CC BY-SA 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons

Where these records come from: the sculpture catalogue is the Creative District’s own Art on the Corner listing, and the businesses are the DDA’s published gift-card merchant list, the one public source that carries a street number for each one, which is why every business shown here takes the card. That list runs alphabetically and the archived capture stops at the letter G, so the walk is populated as far as the capture goes. In production the street number is a field on all 432 directory listings and the walk filters the full directory.
