Self Reflection

2nd Place Best in Show

My sculpture represents a horse drinking water. I was inspired by studying the arch in a horse’s neck as he eats all day. It came to me that the horse drinks water everyday as well, and probably has become aware of the reflection of itself. It makes you wonder, if the horse checks in to see how it is doing each day. I used recycled steel pieces to create this life and a half sized horse head. Many of the parts are farm, or horse related.
