Enter the CHFA loan number and the property ZIP code. Status comes back as a stage, not as borrower information.
What the lookup shows
A status lookup returns the stage a file has reached in CHFA’s review and the date it reached it. It does not show borrower income, credit, documents, or an approval decision.
The stages are the same ones the originating lender sees: received, in compliance review, in full review, conditions outstanding, cleared to close, and purchased.
If the lookup does not answer your question
The originating lender holds the file and can see everything this lookup cannot. Start there. CHFA’s main line is 860-721-9501.
