Visit Southwest Tech
The fastest way to pick a program is to stand in the room where it happens. Tour the labs, meet instructors and current students, and bring your questions.
Ways to visit
- Campus tour. Walk the Fennimore campus with a member of the recruitment team and see the shops, labs, and clinics up close.
- One-on-one career assessment. Meet with a Student Success Specialist to talk through your interests and see which programs fit.
- Group visits. Bring a class, club, or family group; group visits are scheduled separately from individual tours.
- Program shadows. Sit in on a real class in the program you're considering.
- Career Exploration Events and Adult Student Info Nights. Drop-in sessions held on campus and virtually through the year; see the events calendar for the next date.
- Southwest Tech comes to you. If a school, organization, or event in the district would rather have a Southwest Tech representative visit them, recruitment can arrange that too.
New student registration and orientation
Newly admitted students attend New Student Registration and New Student Orientation before their first term. Both appear with dates on the events calendar, alongside Adult Student Info Nights and District Board meetings.
