TLC Awards I am Tourism

The Savannah Convention Center is pleased to announce Mr. Jamie Parks, the Director of Food & Beverage for the Savannah Convention Center, was awarded the Tourism Leadership Council (TLC) I am Tourism Award at the TLC Awards and Scholarship Dinner on Thursday, March 28th at the Savannah Convention Center. A number of local Service Industry leaders were acknowledged for their service and outstanding community involvement.

The I am Tourism award is presented to an individual in the Savannah tourism industry who has integrity and commitment, serves selflessly, works hard, and is kind. Parks easily meets the criteria. He has served on the board member for the Tourism Leadership Council and has assisted TLC with Savannah Food & Wine Festival, Golf Tournaments, and other local events. “Jamie Parks is an asset to not only our Convention Center and clients, but to the tourism industry and the City of Savannah.
