Floor loads
What the Floor Can Carry
350 lb Per square foot, Exhibit Hall

- Displays or transport equipment over 6,000 lb need SCC Engineer review before move-in.
- Columns covered in hard material need at least 18 inches of clearance on all four sides, with one access door.
Ordering deadlines
Order Early or Pay More
The exhibitor store opens 90 days before your first scheduled load-in. Everything you order online moves through three price tiers as the show gets closer.
| Tier | Window | 120V, 10A circuit |
|---|---|---|
| Advance | 31-90 days prior | $120 |
| Standard | 7-30 days prior | $150 |
| Floor | Onsite, 6 days or fewer prior | $225 |
- Payment is by credit card only, through the online portal (Ungerboeck), with a 3% processing fee on every card transaction.
- Tax-exempt exhibitors cannot order through the portal; contact exhibitor services directly by phone or email for a PDF order form.
The cancellation schedule does not fully reconcile. The ordering kit prints a 100% refund 31 or more days prior, a 50% refund 15 to 45 days prior, which overlaps the full-refund window, and no refund inside 14 days. Printed exactly as given; confirm your specific cancellation terms with exhibitor services before you rely on a number here. On-site cancellations are not refunded under any of the three readings.

Booth Space by Hall
Every hall the capacity chart rates for 10x10 booths. Exhibit Hall is the whole floor priced as one combined count; A through D are the same floor priced by section, and the two are not additive.
| Hall | Dimensions | Sq Ft | Ceiling | Booths |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exhibit Hall Combined | 683' x 283' | 200,000 | Varies | 974 |
| Exhibit Hall A | 193' x 283' | 53,887 | 52'2" | 280 |
| Exhibit Hall C | 180' x 280' | 51,693 | 30' | 262 |
| Exhibit Hall D | 160' x 280' | 46,017 | 30' | 224 |
| Exhibit Hall B | 150' x 283' | 42,223 | 52'2" | 208 |
Exhibit Hall's combined count is the same floor as A through D, not an additional hall; do not add the combined row to its own sections when you are working out how many booths fit.
Exhibitor FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I run my own extension cords or share power with another exhibitor?
- No. You cannot run cords under the flooring or distribute high-voltage power across the floor yourself, and services cannot be shared between exhibitors; each booth orders and pays separately.
- Can I bring in outside food or drink?
- No. SCC is the exclusive food and beverage provider for the building. Catering is ordered through the same online system; questions go to (912) 447-4031.
- Can I rig something from the ceiling?
- Only through the building's exclusive rigging provider, and only for rigging purposes. Additional fees apply.
- Who installs my booth's utility connections?
- SCC staff install every connection. There is no direct floor access for outside installers.
- Where does my service land in the booth by default?
- Rear-center of the booth space. For peninsula and island booths, wherever is most convenient, unless you specify otherwise.
- When do I need a booth diagram?
- If you are ordering two or more connections, or requesting service at a specific spot, especially with carpet already installed, submit a booth diagram or grid with your order.
- What happens if I cancel on-site?
- On-site cancellations are not refunded.
Rigging
Rigging Rules and Limits
Encore Global is the SCC's exclusive in-house audio-visual provider, and the exclusive provider of chain hoists, truss, and all associated lifts for rigging, plus rigging labor, for production and sign-hanging anywhere in the building.
- Reach the Encore rigging team directly at (203) 906-0462.
- Rigging plots go to Encore for review and approval at least 30 days before your first move-in date.
- Rigging orders have to be confirmed and paid in full 21 days before that same move-in date.
- Separately, the Event Planner Guide requires a full move-in and move-out rigging plan on file with your Event Manager 60 days before the event, reviewed internally by Encore. That is a different document from the rigging plot above, not the same deadline stated twice.
