Rates
Rates are set by the elected Board of Commissioners at public rate hearings, and all power is sold at cost, because the District is a nonprofit. Current electric rates are effective April 1, 2026.
These figures come from the Electric Service Rates & Credit Policy, adopted by the Board of Commissioners. See the rate-hearing presentation from the meeting that set them.

- Members of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians receiving energy on the Kalispel Indian Reservation are exempt from the District's public-utility and privilege taxes under Washington law.
