The Mitchell County Jail is accepting applications for corrections officers. No prior experience is required; training is provided.
The Sheriff's Office is hiring corrections officers for the county jail, starting at 16 dollars an hour with full health and dental, paid leave, and KPERS retirement. The county is an equal opportunity employer.
What to do
- Meet the minimums: 18 or older, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Kansas driver's license.
- Complete the application and the release of information.
- Deliver both to the Sheriff's Office jail at 1716 N Hersey, PO Box 338, Beloit, KS 67420.
