AB 2169 Digital Choice Act
Digital Choice Act provides consumers with greater control and choice in using digital platforms by requiring data portability (the ability to download and move your data) and interoperability (the ability to seamlessly migrate to a new platform). This prevents consumers from being “locked in” to a platform because switching is too burdensome or costs are too high.
