Description: The Saugatuck Douglas CVB has submitted an event application for Flower World Activation. The proposed event will take place on October 11, 2025, in Cook Park to introduce the new flower art installation. A safety meeting has been conducted with Police, DPW and Organizer. Fire Chief is away at training and will review with Chief for approval upon his return to town. Breakdown of Event: Location: Cook Park Date: 10/11/25 Event Hours: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. set up 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and clean up 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Attendees: 200-250 Volunteers: 6 Budget Action Required: N/A Legal Review: N/A Sample Motion: Motion to approve/deny Flower World Activation to take place on October 11, contingent on review with and approval from Fire Chief.
