How to apply
- Draw your project on a copy of your plat of survey. Most projects require one, to scale.
- Gather contractor licenses. Electrical, plumbing, and roofing contractors must include license copies. In an HOA? Include the HOA's project approval letter.
- Submit in person, by mail, or by email to buildingdept@roundlakeil.gov.
- Allow 5–10 business days for review. It may take longer if an outside agency has to look at it.
