Board of Fire and Police Commissioners
Oversees public-safety hiring and discipline.
Planning and Zoning Commission
Reviews development, variances, and the zoning map. Next meeting June 30, 6:00 p.m.
Local Liquor Commission
Reviews liquor licenses and renewals.
Police Pension Board
Administers the police pension fund.
Joint Review Board (TIF)
Reviews tax-increment financing districts.
Adjudication hearings
Local hearings for Village ordinance citations.
Strategic Plan
The Board adopted the Strategic Plan 2024 Update on October 21, 2024, building on the 2018 plan. Its six focus areas:

Fiscal transparency
Budgets, audits, and the auditor's communication publish for residents. They are findable by search, not buried in PDFs.
Village Code
The Village Code is published online; the redesign keeps it searchable and linkable by chapter.
