Accessibility
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What that means here
- Every map has a list or table with the same information, and every chart has a table.
- All controls work with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- On the map, the arrow keys move to a nearby point, Page Down and Page Up step through every point from north to south, and Enter opens the one you are on.
- Text meets AA contrast, and the site works at 200% zoom and on small screens.
- Animation is optional. If your device asks for reduced motion, the map changes without movement.
- Photos have text descriptions, and downloads are plain CSV and JSON.
