Story Quest: Unearth a Clue

Browse puzzle-box kits

A library shelf can hold an escape room. Check out an age-appropriate puzzle box, take it to the circulation desk, and crack the four-digit code hidden inside to unlock a backpack of librarian-picked titles on that box’s theme:

  • Pitch Perfect (music): Cedar Hill and Windsor

Reading logs

Two self-paced reading logs track a lifetime of reading, from before Kindergarten through high school. Log the same reading on Beanstack, or download and print a paper copy below.

StoryWalks

A StoryWalk pages a picture book out along a park trail, one spread per stop, so families can read and walk together. Free, self-guided, and open during normal park hours.
