Care for Your Health: Where We Are Needed, We Go

In short, where we are needed, we go!

What most defines Care for Your Health is our commitment to community. We don’t want people to live in isolation, we want everyone the opportunity to partake in joy, resources, and in human rights. These are our drivers.

We know aging can be difficult and we appreciate the bravery of the elderly in overcoming so many obstacles. Because of this, our main aim is to offer the elderly more choices, to facilitate their aging in place, in familiar surroundings, with the people they love and know. It is also very important to relieve caregivers, who dedicate every day to take care for their older parents and relatives.

To accomplish all this, we started two multicultural micro practices in 2008, and have grown now to the point of having two clinics (Silver Spring and Germantown), providing domiciliary, primary, and hospital care for the most fragile patient and organizing pop up clinics so that nobody in our society misses out on their medical care. In short, where we are needed, we go!

We witness injustice and inequality daily. Yes, it makes us sad, but above all it strengthens our determination. It is also a joy to see our patients and families trust us, and a privilege to be able to help. Our plans are to keep growing and improving every day, to provide more services to more people. In all our programs, we feel really supported by the assistance and partnership of the Healthcare Initiative Foundation (HIF).
