The Healthcare Initiative Foundation wants every Montgomery County nonprofit and resident to be able to use this site.
The standard
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
- Text and controls meet AA color contrast, and pages reflow on a phone or at 400% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Headings, landmarks, and labels are marked up so screen readers can move through each page.
- Every photograph and map has a text alternative, and each map's pattern is described in words beneath it.
- The September 18 orientation recording has English captions and a full transcript.
- Motion is minimal and stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
Documents
Many of the Foundation's documents are PDF or Word files. Each one is listed with its type and size, and the grant cycle FAQ is also on this site as a web page. If you need a document in another format, please write to us.
