Walk in

You can just come in.

The Lab is free, there is nothing to sign up for during open hours, and you do not need to know anything about AI before you arrive. Here is the room, where it is, and how to get to it.

Getting onto the plaza

Constitution Plaza is a raised deck over the street, so the way in is not obvious the first time. The Lab is at 10 Constitution Plaza, in a glass-fronted bay off the deck. If you tell us you are coming and you have not been before, someone will come down and meet you.

Buses and parking

Constitution Plaza sits between Market Street and Columbus Boulevard in downtown Hartford. CTtransit and CTfastrak both serve downtown; the trip planner at cttransit.com will give you the stop nearest the plaza. There is a garage under the plaza.

What to bring

  • A laptop if you have one, because you will leave with things set up on your own machine. If you do not have one, use ours.
  • The actual task. A real invoice, a real posting, a real spreadsheet, not a tidied-up version of it.
  • Nothing else. There is no cost and nothing to buy.

Accessibility

Tell us what you need before you come and we will sort it out. That includes getting up to the deck, getting through the door, a quieter corner, an interpreter, or anything we have not thought of. Call or email and ask for whatever it is.
