Bring something of your own

Request the room

Meetups, classes, cohorts, neighborhood associations, student groups. Tell us what you want to run and when. You get a reference number straight away, and you can see where your request is at every step.

Tell us about it

A few sentences. Who is coming, what you will do, and anything you need from us.

What happens after you send it

  1. Submitted

    The person requesting

The form lands in the queue with a reference number and an email confirmation, and appears below straight away so the requester can watch it move. It is not on the calendar and nobody has read it yet.

  2. Staff review

    Lab staff

Staff check the date against the room, ask anything missing in the same thread, and either move it forward or decline with a reason. The requester sees the status change.

  3. Approver decision

    The approving City staff member

A second person approves or returns it. This is the step that can publish; staff review on its own cannot.

  4. On the calendar

    The site, then staff

The approved event appears here within minutes, with its own page and an RSVP, and anyone can add it to their own calendar from there.

Two people see every request. Staff review cannot publish on its own.
