Welcome to Gilberts. Three things worth doing in week one:
- Set up water & garbage billing. Service is billed by the Village. Call Finance at 847-428-2861 to put the account in your name, then switch the bill to email.
- Learn your collection day. Garbage and recycling run weekly, and the details live here.
- Join the e-newsletter. Garage-sale weekends, splash-pool openings, and board news arrive after you sign up once.
The tools behind the counter
The Village already runs on a few trusted platforms, and this site is built to plug into them rather than replace them:
- BS&A: online utility payments
- Municode: the Village Code of Ordinances
- Esri / ArcGIS: zoning and village maps
Integration is part of the redesign scope. Payments, code, and maps stay where staff already maintain them.
