Water pours over the new Jocko K diversion, its walkway and gate structures above the spill and pine forest behind.
Jocko K Diversion The new diversion, fish ladder and fish screen, completed in 2024

Replacing aging diversion infrastructure to improve irrigation operations, enhance fish passage, and support long-term water management.

Project Overview

The previous irrigation diversion dam structure was removed and replaced with a modernized diversion structure. The new structure is equipped with a fish ladder and new fish screen, this improves fish management capabilities. The new diversion modernizes irrigation water management and improves operator ability to manage instream flows safely and efficient. The old structure was posing a notable danger for operators and affected irrigation delivery efficiencies.
