New Recreational Investments Planned for Beckett Park

Check out the proposed infrastructure investments and new recreational opportunities at Beckett Park, which is estimated to cost approximately $2.7-2.9 million and will be funded using the SR-747 TIF.

At the June 24 work session, the West Chester Township Trustees reviewed proposed infrastructure investments and new recreational opportunities at Beckett Park, which would cost approximately $2.7-2.9 million to be funded using the SR-747 TIF.

Potential upgrades would include:

Eight new pickleball courts

Two new dog parks (one for small dogs, one for big dogs)

New parking lot with approximately 50 spaces

New walkways that connect with existing infrastructure to provide additional walking/jogging opportunities

New fishing dock

Expanded bathroom facilities

Additional shaded seating and benches around the new pickleball courts and the Splash Park

Additional fencing to deter access from play structures to open water

These renderings are conceptual and do not represent the final design, so you can expect these to change and be adjusted as the project moves forward.

We have seen a record 800-1,000 people visiting Beckett Park each day since the new Splash Park opened! As we plan for the future, investing in our parks and recreational spaces remains a key priority to improve the quality of life in our community.
