Hello, West Chester; as we prepare to "fall back" next month, I'm reminded that we are always pressing forward in the Community Development office. The permits continue to roll in, with more than 800 already this year. We always have new and developing projects.
West Chester's success has resulted from great planning through the years. Township leadership is diligently working on a Strategic Plan for our future and is also engaged in a Parks Master Plan. These plans are not just documents, they are our shared vision for the future. We also continue working on our Zoning Resolution and Land Use Plan updates. Speaking of pressing forward, we are thrilled to announce that a new West Chester Economic Development Manager will be introduced by the end of the month! We can't wait for her to start and for the community to get to know her. She has excellent economic development and public relations knowledge and will be a real asset to our office.
