West Chester Township’s public safety teams train regularly in order to be prepared for the unimaginable. Whether severe weather or active shooter situations, all of West Chester’s professionals are prepared to step in and serve the community.
West Chester partners with the Butler County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) for many training exercises and the EMA is there to support our community in case of any disaster.
On April 20, 2022, West Chester Police, Fire, Emergency Dispatch and the EMA conducted tabletop exercises for an active shooter scenario.
It would take teamwork and collaboration to face this type of crisis and its aftermath. Therefore, West Chester trains as a team in order to serve our residents and businesses.
