AB 2155 Arbitration agreements
Arbitration agreements makes agreements to submit to arbitration unenforceable where the agreement would not be enforceable under the Federal Arbitration Act, such as with claims of sexual harassment. Arbitration is a private, alternative dispute resolution process in which a neutral third party (an arbitrator) renders a binding decision on a conflict, rather than a judge or jury in a public court.
