Academics & Programs

One school, four ways in

GSSM serves South Carolina students wherever they are: on the Hartsville campus, online from their home high school, for a summer, or through their own teachers.

Entry 01 · Live here

Residential High School

Juniors and seniors from across the state live and study on the Hartsville campus, taking advanced STEM coursework with research and humanities alongside it, and graduate ready for the most demanding college programs.

  • Advanced courses taught at college pace and depth
  • Mentored research as part of the academic program
  • Residence-hall life with structured support

Entry 02 · Stay home, level up

Online Program

Accelerated STEM coursework delivered online, so students can stay enrolled at their home high school and still learn at GSSM pace. Designed for students whose schools have run out of math and science to give them.

  • Live online instruction from GSSM faculty
  • Counts alongside a student's home-school transcript
  • Open to students across all of South Carolina

Entry 03 · Try it for a summer

GoSciTech Summer Camps

Hands-on summer discovery for rising middle and high schoolers, in three formats: residential on the Hartsville campus, day camp, and virtual. Campers spend the week doing science, not watching it.
