We provide employees with a compensation program designed to attract, reward, and retain employees. We utilize a pay-for-performance component (unless otherwise negotiated by a Collective Bargaining Agreement) that is focused on appropriately rewarding varying levels of performance and contributions to the organization.
The higher employees perform, the greater the potential for pay increases as progression through the salary range is based on demonstrated job performance. The village competes with other similarly situated public and private sector organizations to attract individuals with exemplary performance records who can assist in achieving our mission as an organization. Market data is collected not only from local municipalities, but also from the private sector to ensure competitiveness in the market.
