Whenever you are considering remodeling your basement, bathroom or kitchen, a Residential Building Permit must be submitted and a plan review conducted. A detailed drawing of the remodeling work, along with a written scope of work, must accompany the application. If you have hired a contractor(s) to perform the work, the contractor must obtain a Contractor's Business License with the Village before a permit can be issued. Once the staff review is complete, you will be notified that the permit is ready to be issued.
