Additionally, we would like to express our thanks to Councilmember Gregory for bringing up the important issue of street lighting. This is a concern we’ve voiced in the past, and somehow it appears it may have been overlooked during the assessment by the engineering fir m. Proper lighting on Maple Street is essential for both safety and visibility, especially for pedestrians and drivers during the darker months, and we appreciate Gregory’s attention to this matter. Once again, we thank the City Council for your ongoing efforts to make Saugatuck a safer and more connected community. Your responsiveness to the needs and concerns of residents is deeply appreciated, and we look forward to seeing these improvements take shape in the coming years.
