The older portion of the Center Street Parking Deck (built in 1972) is now closed to the public as preparations begin for demolition.

  • July 20 · Fencing will be installed, utilities will be disconnected, and crews will begin removing salvageable items.
  • Early August · Demolition begins and will take place Monday through Friday.
  • Labor Day Weekend / Arts, Beats & Eats · Demolition will pause during the festival. The contractor is coordinating with the event, the site will be secured, and no work will occur during the festival.
  • After Arts, Beats & Eats · Demolition will resume, with the project expected to be completed in November.

The adjacent 7-level parking structure on Center Street will remain open throughout the project.
