The Downtown Development Authority wants everyone to be able to plan a night out, find a business, park once, and reach the right office here, whatever device or assistive technology you use.

The Standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA

We build and test this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at Level AA. That standard covers the things that make a website usable for people with a wide range of vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive needs.

We check the site with both automated tools and hands-on testing, including keyboard-only and screen-reader passes, and we fix what those checks turn up.

How That Feels in Practice

• Keyboard first. Every menu, link, and form works with a keyboard alone, and the outline that shows where you are stays visible as you move.
• Made for screen readers. Real headings, labels, and landmarks let a screen reader move through each page in a sensible order.
• Readable contrast. Text keeps a strong contrast against its background, in both the daytime and the after-dark sections of the site.
• Calm by request. When your device asks for less motion, the glow and slide effects hold still and the content stays put.
• Works without JavaScript. The menu, listings, events, and parking details all load and read with JavaScript turned off.
