PURSUANT TO RSMo 50.333.01,

A salary commission meeting has been scheduled for November 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Newton County Courthouse in the Office of the County Commission.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the county office holders’ salaries for the next term.

Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 610.021 and 610.022, all meetings of a county salary commission shall be open meetings and all votes taken at such meetings shall be open records. Any vote taken at any meeting of the salary commission shall be taken by recorded yeas and nays.

Veterans Ceremony

Public Notice Posted

Newton County will host an abbreviated event to honor our Nation’s veterans.

November 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. on the main floor of the Courthouse in Neosho.

Retired Army National Guard SGT David Osborn will be the guest speaker.

Veterans in attendance will also be recognized.

All area veterans and their families along with the public are invited to attend.
